Sierra Club Social Design

Sierra Club is the largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the country. They work to promote clean energy, safeguard the health of our communities, protect wildlife, and preserve our remaining wild places through grassroots activism, public education, lobbying, and legal action.

I was fortunate enough to work directly with the Sierra Club to help them with their Sludge Campaign. Sludge is a forever chemical (PFA) that has serious effects, but it goes mostly unknown. My work was to design a Public Service Announcement style template for the Sierra Club’s social media.

My goal in designing for the Sierra Club was to balance clear and effective communication, while also making it both aesthetically pleasing and visually striking so that people would stop scrolling and read.
